How exciting for you! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time.
I was trying to think of what advice I could give you from my experience in London last year and the best thing I can think of is that you should make sure you bring something homey with you. I tried to pack so light and kind of left the more homey (and "unnecessary") things in Colorado. Anything, like a small blanket or slippers, would be nice to have if you get homesick. Other than that, less is definitely more when backpacking!
I'm looking forward to reading about your travels and I'll keep you in my prayers. :) Have safe flights and a wonderful time!
How very exciting Taylor!! Have fun and study hard! :) I'm so glad I get to travel to the Netherlands vicariously through you. I've always dreamed about traveling to the home of my great grandparents who lived well into my 20s. God bless you all. Melba
Im so excited you decided to take part in the Baylor in Maastricht Program. my participation in the program is the main reason Im attending Grad school there...TOMORROW! Cant wait for our fun weekend in Amsterdam! BTW: London is great and the pound has dropped so much it wont hurt your pocketbook so much anymore. Be safe and see ya very soon. -Mark
Aww Taylor you're so cute!! Have so much fun on your trip. I can't wait for more blog posts. I'm putting your blog on my favorites. We all miss you, but I know you're going to have an awesome time!!
Welcome to my blog, friends and family! I can't believe my semester in The Netherlands (and the rest of Europe) is finally here! I will try to post as often as possible to share my stories about this awesome opportunity. Comments are encouraged!
I will be spending my spring semester in Europe! I'll be going to the University of Maastricht Center for European Studies and taking classes for two months (and traveling on the weekends) and then will be "backpacking" for a month. I will gone from January 25th-April 25th
